We have no alternative source of income apart from the donations from tourists who come to lake Bunyonyi on their way to visit the mountain Gorillas.
If any one can volunteer to make us fundraising campaign on internet,we hope that we can achieve something to start this.
We also appeal to the general public to share this with friends so that we can have audience.

Visiting the Blacksmiths people of Bukoora

Yesterday I tried to visit the Blacksmiths people of Bukoora in Kabale district to discuss with them how they can educate the youth and the children the skills most those who are not educated as away of making them get some livelihood income.
At the end I also tried to melt some metals which I enjoyed.
According to Mr Beinagabo,he told me that they manufacture many items which include;
Spears
Knives
Sickles
Pangas
Axes to mention but a few.
He said that he earns a bout 200000 Ugx and 300000 Ugx a month which he use to sustain his family of eight children.
From this experience,I realised that using the available resources we have,we can create many job opportunities to the youth in our community.
Blacksmiths people will be among the many people who will benefit from our community craft shop program by selling their products to the tourists who come to lake Bunyonyi on their way to visit the mountain Gorillas in bwindi impenetrable national park.
